Bella Vista Vineyards had its beginnings very near the end of a very bad golf game in the year of our wine 1991. Bella Vista can best be described at this point in time as a hobby taken to a ridiculous extreme by a few fun loving, wild and crazy guys. Our wine making philosophy is simple, we try to make good wine that goes well with food, fun and extended Sittings.

Chalet Estate is a small Farm Gate Winery producing quality, hand crafted wines. We specialize in, making crisp wines from Saanich Peninsula grapes renown for their aroma and citrus flavours. Contracts with select vineyards in the Oliver region of British Columbia allow us to obtain the highest quality of red grape varieties for our robust and much sought after Cabernets and Merlots. The D'Angelo Estate Winery name may be familiar to readers from its namesake winery near Windsor, Ontario, where Sal D'Angelo has produced award winning wines for many years. Fairview cellars is located between the driving range and the first hole of the Fairview Mountain Golf Course at the north end of the Golden Mile in Oliver, BC. The vineyard and winery are a culmination of a 25-year quest by Bill Eggert to own and operate his own winery. Fairview Cellars wines consist of the three Bordeaux classics: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The wines are barrel aged in an underground cellar then blended to marry the various attributes of each grape. The wine shop will be opening in JULY 2000 with a limited offering of the 1997 blend and the release of the 1998 blend. Hours of operation will be 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday to Saturday.
