Wine Storage

Factors to remember when storing wine are lighting, temperature and humidity.

Lighting

Keep wine out of direct sunlight. This would heat up the wine and cause the wine to  breakdown to rapidly.

Temperature

Should be between 45-65°F Temperature , ideal temperature is 54°F. Temperature is a factor in the aging process. Within the ideal range, higher temperatures will result in faster aging while cooler temperatures will slow the process. Never allow wine to reach a storage temperature of more than 75°F as it will be ruined.

 Humidity

Wines are stored on their side to prevent the cork from drying out which could let air enter the bottle.
